Senior Sales officer (GT)
Report to :
- Regional Sales Manager- General Trade
Mission :
- Ensure efficient order taking, merchandising and promotional activities at GT outlets in line with company targets and objectives. Handling of Distributors and Junior Sales Officer
Main Responsibilities :
- Order taking and JSO Management
- Taking orders at Bigger GT and Wholesale outlets and reporting on sales volumes and outlet potential
- Push SKUs not currently being ordered
- Manage the JSO and Distributor. Training of JSO and Distributor on company policies.
- Responsible for Area Target and KPIs
- Merchandising and Promotion
- Advice clients on promotions, prices and schemes
- Instore Execution of POP, Promotion, Shelve Management
- Distributor Management
- Handling of Distributor Stocks, Sales and Claims
- Management of Distributor ROI
- Other
- Problem solving
- Reporting of Distributor , Outlet and SKU Data – Monthly and Weekly
- Business development
KPI:
- Sales volume increase in the outlets they are in charge of New client acquisition
Competencies :
- Previous field sales experience (2-3+ years )
- Knowledge of the local FMCG market
- Previous Distributor handling experience
- Manpower Handling Experience
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
